| They came , they saw, they conquered After 7 years of abscence from the Cup, Bosnia takes the 2009 Cup after beating Chile on penalties in front of around 900 fans. The 3-3 score after extra time reflected the tightness of the match, Perhaps one of the best finals for a few years. A perfect clash of football styles. The hard and fast Bosnia team against a very young Chile that played an outstanding first half with a classic South American style. Full time and extra time could not split the 2 teams apart. The chilean goalkeeper saved a penalty but a chilean poster and a Bosnian save was the difference at the end. |
